The City Council is currently reviewing an Ordinance to regulate the use of electric bicycles and scooters in City limits with the first reading of the Ordinance passed at the July 14th council meeting.
There will be 2 more readings before final approval.
Copies of the Ordinance can be picked up at the City Office for review and any questions can be addressed to the Plainview Police Department.
This Ordinance is not banning the use of electric bicycles and scooters. It is setting forth regulations on where, when and how they can be operated.
