The City of Plainview supplies water,sewer and trash services to its residents.

The City requires a $150 deposit for these services. 

Utility billings are mailed the first of each month with payment due by the 15th. Payment can be made via cash, check , credit card or ACH. A drop box is located outside the city office for after hours payments. Water, sewer and trash billings will continue to come from the City of Plainview. 

Effective December 1, 2018, North Central Public Power District of Creighton will bill for electrical services in the City of Plainview. Billings will be sent directly from NCPPD to Plainview residents. Payment must be submitted to the office in Creighton via mail, online bill pay, phone or ACH. There is no drop box in Plainview for payments to NCPPD. Any questions regarding electrical services should be directed to NCPPD at 402-358-5112.
