Plainview's old railroad depot was built in 1880. The last train came through in 1978 and several years later residents restored the building and transformed it into a museum that is open May through Labor Day.
The Klown Doll Museum currently houses over 7,000 clown dolls and growing! Admission is free to one of the most unique attractions in not only Nebraska but the country. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
