In accordance with the NDEE Regulations Governing Public Water Supply Systems, the consumers of the City of Plainview Public Water Supply System are notified that a nitrate sample collected on 12/17/2024 measured at a concentration of 11 mg/L which exceeds the drinking water standard of 10mg/L.

Adults and children older than 6 months of age can drink the water.

Do not allow infants, pregnant women or nursing mothers to drink the water.

The City Office has bottled water available during regular business hours.
